Dark eyeliner look EOTD

I used thick eyeliner on the eyes - a new thing for me, mainly since I line my eyes very rarely! Also it is nearly bare face - only finishing powder and blush - no creams, no lotions on face. Over the weekend I want allow my skin to breathe, so off the chemicals for a while.

Tanaya babe - this Sunday DH's (that's dear husband's) friends are coming over for the second time since we were married - so that's cooking for 12 hungry rioting men (still boys, despite their "advanced" ages). God knows how we'll manage, but we're excited!

My Olive and gold eye-shadow FOTD 28/02/08

I used blush and the new lippie - Honey Brown, but smelled too strong of chemical, so I'm going to stop using that.

Weekend haul 24/02/08

My weekend/vacay haul! Everything's from BHAVANI; my mecca for cosmetics.


The list includes:

• Plum lip liner, black eye liner
• 3 individual unbranded eye/face/body shimmers
• Shea butter body lotion
• 3 brushes - for blush, eyes and liner (angled one)
• One concealer in tube
• Honey Bare shade lipstick (unbranded)

New couch

Yippeeeee! We've got a new yummy chocolate coloured, hi-fi, very relaxing/comfy, expensive type sofa. We're so happy about it cos it is our first couch, ever, and it is so grand and so stylish. And it was kinda affordable.
Note my curtains - they are really that bright orange - cos the room doesn't get much natural sunlight so we put those up to brighten it up.

My new cosmetic buys!

I bought myself an ELF Tone correcting concealer, as well as Lakme Rose Powder - a lightly rose scented blotting powder.



My favourite would be the five drawer for jewellery and make up!


Blossom Kocchar's Aroma Magic suits my skin so well - and works miracles. So this time I wanted to try a cleaser to specifically target my oily combination skin. I used the Mint Cleanser - which contains all natural ingredients that includes natural extracts of peppermint, spearmint, cloves, garlic, pineapple, neem and essential oils including Juniper, Rose, Ylang Ylang & Rosemary.
In the first couple of seconds within opening the pack you get a distinct spearmint smell - which is pleasant, but strong. The best part is after cleansing my face it felt absolutely fresh - not stetched or filmy or dry! I'm going to see how long that feeling lasts - it looks like it worked real good on the T-zone, let's see how my cheeks feel after some time.
