Bah! Imbeciles

So I've uploaded some of the photos from the Euro trip, check them out here.
On a bitter note, y'day, while I was waiting to be attended at McDonald's a seemingly educated couple walked in and tried to puch past me towards the counter! They were least bothered that there was a semblance of a queue, and that they should, perhaps, Lord Almighty! have to wait in the queue like civilized persons! Sheesh the indignity of having to wait for something must have hurt the girl, but then I snapped at her and asked her WTF did she think she was doing? Dumb bit*h!
Anyhow, waiting in a queue is as foreign to Indians as throwing garbage in the designated trash can. Come on! We are free to throw trash wherever we want! It's our basic right - we keep our homes sparkling clean, mopping and sweeping everyday; but the roads? Hell, they don't belong to us, why should we bother?? If only more people would try to make it a cleaner place to stay. How come when we travel to other countries we show cleaner behaviour? Aaaaargh!

Hurry hurrry!

So the last few days have been a flurry of activity, with all that happened. My friend was married on the 20th,Monday and it was so heart warming to see her all aglow with the happiness that was visible on the bride as well as the groom 's face! She did look tense when the cermonies started but once she was declared his wife for life, she was ecstatic..and that was the best part. The only time she cried, was understanbly, when she had to sign the marriage certificate and that's when she probably would have felt the enormity of actually having to leave her parent's house, secure and sheltered in their love, and move out to a world full of new adventures and holding the hands of one she now must learn to trust with her life!
But she's a very brave woman and I'm so extremely happy for her and I wish that no harm befalls her and they grow in their love and understanding of each other.
Well in addition she looked so pretty and elegant and WOW! on both the days - the wedding day as well the reception, and we had a blast on these days!
And a lil bird did chirp out that we two should probably start to decide seriously and well that day I was all but cartwheeling with joy!
Let's see que sera sera

This is not about me (not!)

I don't wanna sound whiny - the theme in the past few posts does not reflect all of me, i know this is justa phase and this too, shall pass.
I realized, sometimes, I'm not thankful enough for the blessings in my life. I have an extremely loving partner, (I cannot use the term "Boyfriend", because he is much more than that), whose love and understanding make me feel very happy to be just alive! I can write oodles about him and the way we are..but I digress. My family is so supportive and no matter how independant I become, I will always miss my Mom and her unconditional love. She has been the one bright source of love, care and non-judgemental love and she is my father, mother and guide all rolled into one big loving fun heart. It was tough for her to single handedly bring up two kids and a dog, and yet remain the wonderful person that she is, without any complaints.
And there are so many more things that I am glad of, that if i were to list them all here, this post would indeed turn sappier.
But then, I feel happy for me!

Can you please suggest a title?Feel lazy..

I confess, I'm lazy. I would rather laze away the beautiful day reading a book.
But I wanna get some many things done..my mind does not stop dreaming. I wonder if I ever will have time to do all the things i want to relish..but I'm still young right?
These days I'm really starting to miss my friends much more than usual. I accept I'm not one of the best friends around - I hardly ever keep in touch, and I don't allow anyone to come really close to me. I don't like feeling vulnerable like that. Very very few people have ever really known me, and I miss them. I miss having all that simple fun which did not involve spending loads of money. With those friends I did have to do something shallow or pointless to be socially acceptable, or display any "cool" behaviour.
I feel old inside. Not a nice feeling at all. nope.I'm wasting inside and I dont feel interested in most things.
I feel it's really had making good friends who I can respect. I haven't come across anyone I would give up sleep for, talking late into the night, laughing and arguing in turns.
Let me get out of this funk.

BTW - I feel the french language is sexy - but sometimes it sounds like they are spitting or slurring, weird spaz words, but it does not sound as harsh as German. Ok so gotta get back to work..adieu.

Something to grin about!

So my good friend is getting married. That was not a shock. But the person she is going to be married to - when I heard who it was - man, was I freaked out! I think he would be the last person I would have expected to be the one! But que sera sera.
So..I've found some neat sites for humour, one of them is the http://www.banterist.com, you may wanna check it out.
So I have to upload my photos of the trip, i know i'm lazy ;)
My computer at home is on a protest. It refuses to cooperate. Well, you know what happens to recalcitrant appliances - they get a boot on their *sses! But I have to tackle this rascal - or else the only thing it will be good for is to play Solitaire.
Chow time people!
